Edenbridge Rugby Club Membership Fees 2020/21

Dear members, players and friends of Edenbridge Rugby Club,

Following on from our exciting new club logo and sponsorship news, we are pleased to make our next announcement regarding club membership for the 2020 /21 season.

It was fantastic to see such a great turn out on Sunday, which we’ve marked as the official start of the season regarding club membership.

With the unfortunate Coronavirus disruption ending last season, and in acknowledging the uncertainty we face for this season, despite an increase in administrative costs for all Rugby Clubs, we are pleased to announce that we have decided to either freeze or reduce fees across the various sections of the club:

· Broncos remain at £50 for the season;
· Under 7s remain at £75 for the season;
· Under 8s through to Colts remain at £100 for the season.
· Senior’s fee are reduced to £100

Further to this we are delighted to confirm a restructuring of our ‘non-playing’ membership, with a simple two tiers as follows:

· Full non-playing membership - £100 for the season
· Social Membership - £50 for the season

Finally we want to see that there is proper recognition for the wonderful support and commitment for our volunteers, who are essential to, and sit at the heart of any club:

· Registered and recognised volunteers will qualify for free full membership

Full details of membership categories and associated benefits, including eligibility to the international ticket ballot and voting rights are attached here and available on the club website under the information tab / documents.

New, for the benefit of all members this season, is the introduction of ‘smart membership cards’.
A card that identifies you as a ‘member’ of Edenbridge Rugby Club, and that can be charged with cash funds to be used at the bar and kitchen.

These membership cards will enable the club to run promotions throughout the year and they will be required to qualify for discounts on relevant services arranged with sponsors.

To celebrate the start of our season and to thank the whole membership for their commitment to the club through these uncertain times we are delighted to confirm that throughout September & October purchases on your membership cards will carry a 10% discount on club food and drink.

Full registration details will be available immanently via Pitchero; As requested previously, to ensure your successful receipt of all relevant announcements and updates for you or your child, please check the accuracy of the information you have registered to Pitchero. This database will be essential to club communications going forwards.

Once you’ve paid your subs, and agreed with the clubs terms & conditions, your card will be available to collect from the bar starting next Sunday 20th September and will be available to use straight away. Charging the card with cash happens at the bar, via ‘Chip & Pin’.
