Good day All

Firstly apologies for the delay in getting this note out to you but its taken 2 days to remove most of the mud from kit, car and child !

Another successful and long day for the U10 s , conditions underfoot were something like the battlefields of the first world war due to the downpours on Saturday evening . At least we had no rain or wind and the sun was ever present during the festival.This at least made the mud seem not as important as it had initially .
A spirited and determined days work for the boys resulted in 5 wins(out of 5) , 2 tries conceded , a trophy and a coach with no voice .

Beating :

Uckfield 3-0
Lewes 3-0
Crowborough 3-0
Tunbridge Wells 3-1
East Grinstead 4-1

Interestingly many of the coaches from opposing sides commented how well organised and drilled our team was , this was obviously a big credit to the boys for listening but also all the coaches (present and not present ) for all the hard work that has gone into training. We played as a team and won as a team , as i have said before there was no superstar but 12 very determined young men who even with the conditions against them battled hard and got everything they deserved.

PS training this Sunday resumes back at the Rec at 10 am with Aylesford our guests .They will be bringing 25-30 children so we need to be at full strength (if possible) . Also note they will in total be bringing 100 plus so please be aware parking will be tough!
